Dr. Jacqueline Chan

Dr. Jacqueline Chan is a Canadian and American board-certified Doctor of Optometry and a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry.

Dr. Chan received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of Alberta. She then earned her Doctor of Optometry degree with Gold Key Honor from University of the Incarnate Word, Rosenberg School of Optometry in Texas.

Dr. Chan previously served as Assistant Professor/Clinical at the University of Texas Health Science Center School of Medicine in the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science. She has taught and trained optometry students and ophthalmology residents on low vision, optics and contact lenses. In addition, she provided patient care in a hospital setting and at the Lighthouse for the Blind. Dr. Chan has received several clinical honors, teaching awards and research grants during her optometry training and career. She is also the author and co-author of several articles from her clinical research.

Dr. Chan is a current member of the American Academy of Optometry, Canadian Association of Optometrists, College of Optometrists of British Columbia, and British Columbia Doctors of Optometry.
