O.D. (IAUPR School of Optometry)
Dr. Haylee Mumford was born and raised on an acreage just outside of Saskatoon. She completed her Doctor of Optometry from the InterAmerican University of Puerto Rico in 2022 after studying biomedical sciences at the University of Saskatchewan.
While in optometry school she was involved with clubs including NOSA (which she was president of) as well as VOSH and Lions club. These clubs allowed her to be a part of a couple mission trips around Puerto Rico that brought vision care to communities that otherwise would have had no help.
With a bilingual Spanish/English doctorate degree she hopes to continue helping both the English and Hispanic community in Saskatoon and continue her humanitarian work with more mission trips in the future.
Dr. Mumford received clinical training in ocular disease, vision therapy, specialty contact lenses, low vision, pediatrics, ocular prosthetics, and primary eye care. She has a special interest in vision therapy/binocular vision, pediatric optometry as well as ocular disease.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with friends, family, and her little pup as well as hiking, yoga, and of course traveling.
