An appointment is necessary for most visits. While we will do our best to fit in walk-in and urgent vision concerns, we typically run a full schedule and cannot guarantee that unscheduled walk-ins will be seen.
Please arrive on time for your booked appointment time and bring your student ID card and provincial health care card (if applicable). If it is your first visit to our clinic, please arrive 10 minutes early to allow time for new patient paperwork to be completed.
Late Policy
Our goal is to provide great, on-time service to each and every patient. It is our priority to run as close to schedule as possible and minimize your waiting time to see the doctor. To meet this goal we have established a standardized late policy.
Patients who are more than 10 minutes late for a scheduled appointment may be asked to reschedule. Schedule permitting, we will do our best to fit you in, but if the schedule is full and there is an appointment immediately after, we may be unable to accommodate a late arrival.
Repeated Late or No-Show
Repeated late or missed appointments may require pre-payment of a late fee in order to be re-booked onto the schedule. A regular pattern of late/missed appointments may result in loss of appointment privileges (you will be seen on a walk-in basis only) or may require full pre-payment of exam fee to be placed on the schedule.
Minors/Children
Patients under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian for their appointment. Exceptions apply to students who are enrolled at the post secondary institution where the clinic is located (i.e. this policy does not apply to a 17-year old undergraduate student who are enrolled at the University). We may require written permission from parent/guardian for any patient under 18 years of age who wishes to wear contact lenses for the first time.
